Originally started in 1977 the Tocumwal Foreshore Market was initially a grow, make and sell your own produce style of market and it averaged 77 sites per market.
The Foreshore Committee took over in the early 1990's and now in it's 32nd year, the Foreshore Markets run for 9 months of the year.
Starting in October, on the NSW Labour Day weekend through to the Queen's Birthday weekend in June.
On an average there are up to 200 sites per market, with many more at holiday times - selling everything from garden ornaments, clothing and footwear to plants, gadgets, fruit and vegetables.
The Foreshore Market has just about something for everybody.
