Chrissie’s Book Lounge

Upon entering Chrissie’s Book Lounge, located in Tocumwal’s main street near the Post Office, you are immediately enveloped with a feeling of good food and friends.

The brainchild of owner Chris Tuck, the Lounge has been open since May 2008, with the number of regular customers’ testimony to the excellent coffee, cakes and lunches on offer.

Sit in the sheltered courtyard or by the open fire during winter and read the paper or browse through the selection of new and used books lining the walls of the shop. 

If you can’t find what you are looking for, Chrissie will endeavour to find it for you.

Families are not forgotten with a fully enclosed play area out the back complete with large blackboard and cubby house. Kid-sized treats and drinks are also available.

All food is cooked on the premises and different dietary requirements are catered for. The range of hot and cold lunches and selection of cakes make a decision extremely difficult. BYO for those special occasions!

Chrissie’s Book Lounge hours are:

8am to 5pm Monday to Saturday
9am to 5pm on Sundays.

Bookings are also taken for a-la-carte dining on Thursday evenings, as well as functions.
